About Timothy

Thank you for visiting my Portfolio.

In the past I was lucky enough to volunteer as a Junior Programmer at Wales Interactive, based in South Wales. Whilst there I worked on updating their exsisting catalouge of mobile games, designed and created on Unity; to perform on new devices as well as port one of their Console games to Android.

I am proficient in many scripting languages including:

  • Java
  • HTML5 & CSS3
  • JavaScript
  • PHP

As well as these languages I also have experience with both Unity 5 and Unreal 4 Game Engines.

I graduated from Keele University in 2016 with a BSc. in Computer Science.

For my final year project I designed, developed and published a co-operative multiplayer, first-person puzzle solving game for Windows PC, using custom assets made in the free blender software and later created the game worlds and logic using Epic Games' "Unreal Engine 4".

This project also gave me the opportunity to develop and implement an Artificial Intelligence aspect to my game. When integrated into my game, this A.I. would use a simple but efficient logic tree based system to dynamically adjust the game for a wide range of players with different skill levels, allowing for more balanced gameplay and greater levels of investment by players.

In my second year at university, I had the opportunity to begin another great interest of mine, 3D modelling. During this time I was tasked with recreating a 3D model based on a 2D scene, using the blender software. This helped me realise my interest in 3D modelling and the challenges it presents.
